Axle stand points? (Aygo 05 - 11)

Hi,

I've a question re jacking and axle stand positions for the Aygo 2005 - 2011.

Is it safe to put axle stands under the subframe - and if so does it matter where, or is any part of the subframe strong enough?

(I know the jacking points are under the sill cutouts, but find it tight to then fit the axle stands close to the jacking points, so wonder if the stands are better placed under the subframe?)
